Colour Analyst
Jessica was a Colour Analyst for the Port Moody Panthers Junior B team. She was the official colour commentator for the 2022-2023 ice hockey season but she would do Play by Play occasionally. Her role started in early October, ending December.
She prepared a “Keys to the Game” segment for each game and presented it live to the audience. Jessica utilized her prior hockey knowledge to connect with the plays. She took charge in-between stoppages to commentate on the game. Her seductive storytelling, witty humour, and brisk personality make for a stunning performance.
Play by Play Announcing
Jessica was the only female Play by Player to announce for Pacific Junior Hockey League during the 2022-2023 season. She worked as a colour commentator but would do Play by Play when needed. She overcame a lot of advertises, having to handle the audio, setting up/taking down equipment broadcasting, writing pre-game scripts, and commentary all on her own. With players from the Panthers team helping out by manning the cameras for the live broadcast. Jessica greatly enjoyed doing play-by-play for the Port Moody Panthers and hopes to broaden her horizons by exploring new opportunities.
